WALLACE

Context

January 5, 2009, a scientist named James Wallace invented a communication device that allows him to communicate with other life on other planets.  He finally discovered life on this planet outside of the Milky Way.  He made friends with an alien named Bobb-E.  He’s friends with Bobb-E for years.  His invention makes him very famous and world-renowned.  He wins awards and becomes the most popular man on earth.  Jan. 8, 2014, he builds a huge device that will open a gateway between earth and alien worlds.  This machine is powered by an extremely powerful substance known as Pnodium. The machine has a malfunction and explodes.  The explosion destroys almost all life on the earth, reducing the population from billions to a devastating 4 million.  The explosion kills Wallace’s family but infuses him with Pnodium powered energy.  The power gives him telekinetic abilities.  One year after this happens, current timeline of the story, Wallace fights crime to make up for his humongous failure.  He now lives in a rundown apartment with his friend Bobb-E.  This series shows the struggles of Wallace and other villains that he comes in counter with.  Wallace is a character that constantly tries to do the right thing and protect the planet that he almost destroyed by protecting it one city at a time.  He lives in a deep state of depression as Bobb-E constantly tries to cheer him up and convince him that he can move on with his life and protecting the earth shouldn’t be his responsibility. Wallace is almost obsessed with fighting crime to keep the city safe; constantly patrolling the city at night.  In this show, Wallace fights villains with different evil plots while trying to avoid local authorities.  Every military and police establishment tries to apprehend Wallace hoping he can reverse the effects of the explosion he created.  He avoids them, knowing nothing can be reversed and instead tries to keep them safe from various villainous threats.
